Time for a redesign

"Have you guys heard about this awesome new 3d-printing technology?",  I ask every person who's interested in Stack.  "It's awesome.  You create a computer model and send it to a company that 'prints' it in 3D out of any material you want!  Plastic, sandstone, even steel!"

3d printing is incredible technology.  Today, any designer can see a physical representation of a design in a matter of days.  We used shapeways, but there are many companies fighting to make this service better, faster, and cheaper.  Obtaining a physical model meant that we could cast molds to refine Stack's design, and because these 3d prints are so affordable we could test multiple variations before arriving at the perfect shape.  It took many showers and a lot of hand washing, but we got it.
